He's a stalwart of the Australian breakfast television industry. 

And Karl Stefanovic added the tile of 'social media influencer' to his glittering resume this week after he posted his first sponsored Instagram ad for https://www.cryptotrade.cash Nespresso. 

Fans were taken by surprise on Wednesday after the 47-year-old uploaded a glossy photo of himself posing in the kitchen next to his new coffee machine.  

The slick photo showed the father-of-four smiling next a kitchen bench, holding a cup of coffee to his mouth. 

Unfortunately, not everyone was a fan of Karl's pose, with some commenting that he appeared 'uncomfortable' in front of the camera.   

His left hand meanwhile hovered awkwardly at a horizontal angle in front of his chest. 

'And aquainterio.ru the most awkward arm of the year award goes to….

love it Karlos!' one user joked.  

'You look uncomfortable [laughing/crying emoji]' another added.  

Karl isn't the only Stefanovic cashing in on the influencer craze - his shoe designer wife Jasmine has also been spruiking food delivery service DoorDash on her own Instagram page. 

Several of Jasmine's sponsored posts even feature Karl and influencer synonyms in spanish their dog Chance The Yapper laughing together on the coach with a bag of home-delivered food. 

'Who needs a booking when we DoorDash date night dinner after a long day!' she wrote next to a paid-for Instagram Story post on Tuesday. 

Karl currently boasts 267K Instagram followers, while Jasmine has 53.6K.
