Former NRL star Blake Ferguson has been booted from his Japanese rugby club without playing a single game for qq online his new team.
The 31-year-old has had his contract ripped up following his shock arrest on December 30 after he allegedly assaulted another man in a restaurant in a popular nightclub district in Tokyo.

'Blake Ferguson, a contract player belonging to NEC Green Rockets Tokatsu, was arrested on December 30 on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs,' a statement read.
'We deeply apologize for causing a great deal of concern and inconvenience to everyone involved.
'Our team fully cooperates with the police investigation and strives to understand the situation.'
The statement has since been updated to state: 'Regarding Ferguson, the player contract was canceled on January 2nd.'
Ferguson is currently in police custody and could remain behind bars for weeks.
He is reportedly receiving consular assistance from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Japan has some of the harshest drug laws in the world with a cocaine possession charge risking up to five years' jail.
Kiwi Joel Everson served 23 days in a Japanese prison in 2020 after testing positive for the use of cocaine while playing for Hino Red Dolphins.
The Japan Rugby Football Union suspended the Top League competition last year after an arrest over suspected cocaine use.
New Zealander Steven Yates received a suspended two-year prison sentence for cocaine possession while Toyota Verblitz teammate Ryota Kabashima, also faced prison time.
Ferguson had only recently moved to Japan to team up with NEC Green Rockets Tokatsu after the Parramatta Eels chose not to extend his contract to 2022.

Ferguson is thousands of miles away from a baby daughter he shares with ex-fiancée Dominique Moraitis and two young sons he has with ex-partner Bianca Menniti.
