Fender has released a unique model of Kurt Cobain's Jag-Stang guitar to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Nirvana's "Nevermind" album. The guitar is based on late Kurt Cobain's own design, which includes favorite elements from his Fender Jaguar and Mustang guitars. Kurt created it in collaboration with the business in 1993. Jag-Stang drew inspiration for his dream Fender guitar from Kurt Cobain's designs and doodles, which he found in his personal diaries. During his In Utero tour, which finished in April 1994, Cobain paid many visits to the Jag-Stang.

"I've always loved certain parts of specific guitars since I started playing, but I could never find the right blend of everything I was looking for," Cobain said in a 1994 interview with Fender Frontline. - The Jag-Stang comes the closest to being ideal.

The Cobain Jag-Stang features an alder body, 7.25-inch rosewood neck, single coil pickups, and custom humbuckers in vintage design, homepage and is available in Fiesta Red and Sonic Blue in both left and right-handed variants.

"When we looked at the drawings Kurt Cobain produced for his perfect guitar, we were captivated by how intricate the design was," says Justin Norvell, executive vice president of Fender Products. - Because we value the original design, the new Jag Stang keeps all of its original characteristics. We didn't do anything fresh since we wanted to stay true to Kurt's vision. Because of our long-standing relationship with the Kurt Cobain Estate, we knew we wanted to make Kurt Cobain's vision a reality. It was an honor for me to help bring his ideas to fruition and revitalize this model.

The Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang is priced at £1,249.22856_791_big.png
