Former Sunrise anchor Sam Armytage was met with a huge amount of praise after a photo of herself with 'white hair' was shared online. 

But the 44-year-old set the record straight about her blonde tresses while talking to on Monday. 

Sam said she spent a lot of money with her hairdresser to keep her tresses blonde and put the photo down to an optical illusion.
