Lauren James has completed her record-breaking move to Chelsea - in a deal worth up to £200,000.

That figure is the highest between two Women's Super League clubs.

James, the sister of England and Blues full back Reece, has agreed personal terms and already undergone her medical.

Unsurprisingly, United were reluctant to let the youngster go, and will now have to scramble around for a replacement.

Tammy Abraham 'may be used in deal for Erling Haaland'

According to reports, Chelsea are willing to include Tammy Abraham as part of their attempts to sign Erling Haaland.

Borussia Dortmund frontman Haaland is being chased by several elite clubs this summer, and Chelsea are desperate to snap him up.

So much so, they would be open to adding Abraham - who has struggled for game time under Thomas Tuchel - in a player-plus-cash switch.

Haaland has scored 57 goals in 59 games for Dortmund, so expect this saga to roll on a little longer - and perhaps even into next year!
