Simon Cowell has left K-Pop fans fuming after revealing that he was keen on introducing a new genre, UK-Pop.
On Wednesday morning, the music mogul, 60, uploaded a video from his sofa as he urged hopefuls to apply to the new series X Factor: The Band, in which he revealed he was hoping to rival iconic K-Pop bands such as BTS and BLACKPINK with UK-Pop.
The admission didn't go down too well with fans as they accused Cowell of 'taking the title from biggest group on the planet' and attempting to 'make it white.'

Sitting on his sofa, Simon said: 'Right now K-Pop you could argue is ruling the world. Now it's time for UK-Pop.'
Fuming K-Pop fans weren't too happy as they vented: 'I never thought I'd see the day where kpop Stans are united bc we collectively agree Simon cowell and ukpop is a joke.'
