Devol, Oklahoma is expecting a new casino soon, as the Comanche War Pony casino is set to host its grand opening on March 19. The venue will open at 10 am and it will be the first new property that the Comanche Nation Entertainment has launched in over a decade.
Grand Opening Celebration
The opening day festivities will take place at the casino, which is located in Devol near the Comanche Travel Plaza. A Cedar ceremony will start the day along with a prayer and blessing. Opening remarks are planned by CEO of Comanche Nation Entertainment, Mia Tahdooahnippah. Next, a ribbon-cutting will take place, with the gaming floor open by 11 am.
Comanche Burger Co. will be on hand to provide gourmet burgers and other refreshments to guests, while special promotions are planned all day. The casino includes 250 gaming machines including digital craps, The Vault, and สมัครบาคาร่า electronic roulette, among others.
Ms. Tahdooahnippah commented on the opening by stating:
"The opening of War Pony is a milestone for our company and the Comanche Nation. This marks the first of two new properties we will open this year. We welcome a new era of prosperity for our people and are thrilled to be able to bring new and exciting gaming opportunities for our guests."
Additional Details of the New Casino
Once open, the casino will provide services seven days a week. The hours are 9 am to midnight from Sunday to Thursday and 9 am to 2 am Friday and Saturday. According to Tahdooahnippah, the casino will the first of its kind, as it will offer a wide variety of games that are not available in other areas. The goal is to offer a nice variety of games so that everyone has something to enjoy.
This new venue is not the first casino for Comanche Nation Entertainment. The company operates the Comanche Nation Casino, which is located in Lawton, along with the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino, also in Devol. Additional casinos include the Spur Casino, Star Casino, and Cache Casino, all in Oklahoma.
The Comanche Cache Casino is expected to open this year too, giving Comanche Nation Entertainment two new properties for 2022. It will be interesting to see how the two fares and how players take to the new venues once both are open for operation.
An opening date for the Cache venue has not been announced by the company. Details just say the venue will open sometime this year.
