Louis Theroux says he is in for a 'rude awakening' when his sons discover online porn despite sitting them down and telling them what to expect.

The journalist, 51, who has made a new three-part series entitled Forbidden America for the BBC, takes a behind-the-scenes look at on-camera sex work in the US, and has told his eldest offspring porn films do not represent real life in the bedroom.

Screen star Louis, who is father to sons Albert, 15, Frederick, 13, and Walter, seven, with wife Nancy, told the : 'I'm on the cusp of my kids entering that stage of their lives, so I may have a rude awakening ahead of me. I haven't even disabled the settings on my internet. 

'I've talked to them. I have said to them, "When you see porn, if this is something you've stumbled across, just so you know, that's not the real world. That's not how people have sex. 

'That's people who are performing and doing things to satisfy consumers and don't mistake it for how sex takes place."'

The documentary maker said his boys told him to 'shut up' but he is concerned about how they might interpret the videos after singer Billie Eilish, 20, said porn 'destroyed my brain' after she started watching it from the age of 11.

Pop star Billie has previously said she had nightmares after watching violent and 파워사다리 abusive content, and that it affected what she came to expect from future relationships.

And Louis said he believes Billie needed the same chat he gave his sons when she was a child.

However, Louis insists he genuinely sees sex work as 'valid', adding that he was delighted to talk to one female porn performer earn $150,000 (£111,000) and $250,000 (£185,000) a month after taking her career into her own hands and setting herself up on a scriptiption platform.
