When Bunnings announced they were changing the formula behind their beloved sausage sizzle on Tuesday, XNova they probably never anticipated the amount of backlash they would receive for the evidently controversial decision.

And now radio host Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald, 42, is the latest to take a stand against the hardware giant, reading out an impassioned letter asking them to reconsider the decision on his Nova FM breakfast radio program,  on Wednesday.

Bunnings controversially announced they would now be serving the cooked onion underneath the sausage on their sandwiches instead of on top, citing 'safety' reasons.
