The 19th century-set movie follows the life of the critically-acclaimed painter, whose work was inspired by his penchant for feline animals, as well as his partner Emily, played by Claire Foy.

Meanwhile Benedict is busy working on a variety of projects expected to be released over the next 12 months including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, The Power of the Dog, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
