If you have to lose the bet, you do not have to lose the value of the card, it is simply a contract between the two players who play. In roulette, although roulette is often thought of as a gambling game, it is typically the bank or casino that has the right to decide if a bet is accepted or not. However, in baccarat the entire situation is reversed. So instead of the bank or casino deciding the winning or losing of a bet, the dealer does. In this way, the dealer always has the power to decide whether or not the player wins or loses. There are some other differences between the two games too, but the most notable one is that unlike baccarat, there is no central table where all the bets are taken.
