A mere 10,000 miles won't keep Gabi Grecko from joining her fiance Geoffey Edelsten for the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday.

An excited Gabi, 25, told Daily Mail Australia as she jetted off from New York in the direction of Melbourne she is pining for the 71-year-old businessman saying: 'I miss him, I can't wait to him.'

And the Miami-born DJ believes 'he's finally going to put a ring on it'  revealing on Monday she plans to wear an extravagant sequin corset to the races for her first public appearance with Edelsten in two months.

For his part Edelsten, mawarqq declared bankrupt in America, said he, too, was counting down to seeing his betrothed - who is 46 years her junior.

He said: 'It's been horrid living apart, just simply awful. I can't wait to have her back.'

After being separated by the ocean for more than two months, Gabi has begun documenting her trip to Australia ahead of race day posting an image of red glittery fingernails, perhaps a clue to the colour of her race outfit.

And ahead of boarding her flight back to Melbourne, she showed off a Chanel tweed affair that left little to the imagination.

Ever the exhibitionist, she ensured her assets were on show in a series of Instagram images she herself termed 'oversexualised'.

'My very first official...channel [sic] suit every girl should hit like..

chanel encouraged,' she captioned one image of her in the ensemble that gamely gaped at the chest.

'Over-sexualizing Chanel,' she wrote next to another close-up snap, which revealed her ample assets.

Split to the navel, Gabi's taut stomach was also on display as she gently prised open the the side of her jacket to reveal even more cleavage beneath tumbling pink locks. 

And the natural beauty posted a series of make-up free images showing off her youthful beauty,

She told Daily Mail Australia: 'We've been apart for two months, it's a long time but I had business to sort out in New York.

I think he's finally going to put a ring on it.

She added: 'I plan to wear a custom-made sequin corset, it should be quite the sight... We [Geoffrey] will be seeing a lot more of each other.

'Much of our relationship has been criticized, but what great things haven't been?'

Last week Geoffrey insisted her wont be betting on race day saying: 'I won't be betting, I'm going to be sensible.'

He added: 'I used to be a big gambler in the days of the Sydney Swans about 20 years ago but I don't bet any more.'

The last time Edelsten made an appearance at Flemington Race Course was last year with estranged wife Brynne when the pair were seen arguing as cracks in their relationship deepened.

Then, he wore a firm white suit purchased from Lowes in 1978 with a pink shirt and matching silk tie, while Brynne, 31, dazzled in pink, yellow, blue and an assortment of colours beside the former doctor.

They officially split in January and by March Geoffrey had a new woman on his arm - 25-year-old Miami born DJ, Gabi, whom he publicly unveiled, unfittingly perhaps, at the funeral of former Victorian League Football coach Tom Hafey in May.

A lot has happened since Gabi left for New York to focus on her business arrangements at the end of September. 

Earlier this month, Geoffrey's financial matters were heard at the Federal Court in Melbourne when foreign creditors threatened to chase down his assets in Australia as his ongoing legal battle escalates.

The court heard that Edelsten's overseas creditors intend to pursue his assets in Melbourne, prompting Grecko to admit that the news has taken its toll on their relationship.

Edelsten declared bankruptcy in the United States in January after various deals with business partner Rafael Mawardi were unsuccessful.
