Rick Astley appeared on BBC Breakfast in his pyjamas for an interview on Wednesday and vowed to do the same for his gig at Glastonbury Festival 2023. 

The singer, 57,  will open the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday for the first time alongside the likes of Guns N' Roses, Lizzo and Lewis Capaldi.

In the interview he said: 'I get to play on the Pyramid Stage which is absolutely bonkers to be honest.'

'It'll be very early on the Saturday, maybe a bit too early but there you go.

I'm still in my pyjamas now so I might do it in my pyjamas to be honest.' 

It wasn't until presenter Sally Nugent asked if he was in his pyjamas, viewers realised his outfit choice.
