A Metropolitan Police officer has been sacked without notice after being convicted of sexually assaulting a child at a party.
In another shocking case involving a serving police officer, the Met said a misconduct hearing found PC Farhan Ghadiali had breached the standards of professional behaviour in relation to discreditable conduct.
Ghadiali, attached to the Central West Command Unit, was found guilty of sexual assault on Friday March 24 at Chelmsford Crown Court following an investigation by Essex Police.
According to the Met, the jury found that Ghadiali, whilst off duty, had sexually assaulted a child in September 2019 at a party held in Buckhurst Hill, Essex.
Ghadiali, who had been suspended from duty since December 2020, is due to be sentenced on Wednesday May 24.

It was alleged at a misconduct hearing on Friday that Ghadiali's actions amounted to a breach of the professional standards of behaviour in respect of discreditable conduct.
The Met said the panel found the allegations proven as gross misconduct and he was dismissed without notice.
Chief Superintendent Louise Puddefoot, Central West Command Unit, said: situs slot online 'Pc Ghadiali was found guilty of an extremely serious offence.
'If the Met is to secure both the confidence and trust of the public we need to better protect our integrity by rooting out those that are not fit to serve, such as this individual who today has been dismissed.
'We are putting more resources into investigating allegations of such misconduct.'
It comes in the same week as another serving Met Police officer, PC Callum Utley, attached to the West Area Command Unit, was charged with rape.
He is alleged to have assaulted the victim while off-duty in Buckinghamshire in 2019 and will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on May 25.
Meanwhile earlier this month, two more off-duty Met officers were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, beating and raping a woman after meeting her at a nightclub.

Swathes of cases continue to crop up in the Met following Baroness Casey's damning review into Scotland Yard.
She described the force as broken' and its 'rotten' ranks are riven with racism, misogyny and homophobia.
Her March report also said the Met cannot be trusted to police itself and may harbour many more predatory officers like Sarah Everard's killer Wayne Couzens and serial rapist David Carrick.
In the most damning report in its near 200-year history, the force was described as institutionally racist and corrupt as well as misogynistic and homophobic.
