The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) are back tonight, celebrating the year's biggest music videos, alongside a line up of star-studded performances.
From Olivia Rodrigo's newly released album 'GUTS' to Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, 2023 has been a big year for music.
The award ceremony also comes with its fair share of drama - music fans will remember Britney Spears locking lips with Madonna back in 2003 and Nicki Minaj seeing 'what's good' with Miley Cyrus in 2015.
Even though the drama may have lessened in recent years, we're still in for an intense night of incredible performances, fashion, and of course the all-important wins.
Read on to find everything you need to know about the VMAs 2023, including the start time, how to watch, who's performing and who the nominees are.

How to watch the VMA's
The 2023 VMAs are taking place at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will air at 8pm EST tonight - this is 1am on Wednesday if you're in the UK.
You can also tune in to CMT, Logo, Comedy Central, BET, BET Her, MTV2, Nickelodeon, VH1 and Paramount Network.
If you don't have cable television, not to worry, you can see all the action on the MTV website - if you're outside of the US, you can access the stream using a VPN.
There is also a pre-show hosted by Saweetie, which will kick off at 6:30PM EST and end just before the main event begins.
What to expect
Unlike many other award shows, the VMAs are notorious for allowing winners of major categories to be determined by the public.
Fans simply had to head to the MTV website and cast their votes for their favourite artists in each category.
Meanwhile, a jury makes the decision in the more technical categories.
Most voting is closed now, but the vote for Best New Artist is still open at the time of writing, here.
